Ethiopia
Bure-Manda road Project

Yositech provided specialized Superpave mix design and consultancy services to the main contractor overseeing the construction of Bure-Manda road in Ethiopia's arid Afar region during July 2023. With application of Superpave technology, Yositech formulated the SP-19.00 mm mix type and combined it with Superpave PG 70-22 binder incorporating polymer modification. The mix design together with methodology of construction and paving guidance effectively support the main contractor in ensuring the targeted quality by the client, in which efficient transportation of heavy traffic goods, particularly in anticipation of the border reopening with Eritrea. This collaborative endeavor not only underscores Yositech's unwavering commitment to engineering precision but also plays a pivotal role in establishing durable and resilient infrastructure capable of withstanding the challenges posed by the desert climate. Ethiopia
Adama-Awash Expressway Project

Yositech provided Training, Setting-up and Commissioning of Superpave laboratory equipment (including Dynamic Shear Rheometer, Pressure Ageing Vessel, Gyratory Compactor and Wheel Tracking Machine). Then provided Specialized Superpave mix design and Methodology of Construction services to the main contractor overseeing the construction of Adama-Awash expressway Project in Ethiopia's hot and heavily loaded region between May to June 2023. With application of Superpave technology, Yositech formulated the SP-25.00 mm mix type and combined it with penetration graded 40-50 binder. This collaborative endeavor not only underscores Yositech's commitment to engineering excellence, it plays a pivotal role in establishing durable and resilient infrastructure capable of withstanding the challenges posed by the extreme loading and temperature in the region.
